About the Organization & Legal Role
Gliders India Limited is India’s specialized Defence PSU engaged in the design, development, and manufacturing of parachutes, aerial delivery systems, inflatables, and technical textiles for the Armed Forces.
The Manager – Legal will oversee the company’s legal affairs, including vetting commercial and defence procurement contracts, managing court litigation and arbitration proceedings, handling corporate compliance, and advising management on complex service and industrial matters.
Eligibility Criteria for Manager (Legal)
Candidates applying for the legal position must fulfill the following academic, experiential, and age parameters as of the closing date of application (20 October 2026):
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential:A full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University or Institution approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
2. Post-Qualification Experience
- Mandatory: A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the legal domain.
- Desirable Profile: Prior working experience in a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), Government organization, corporate/industrial enterprise, or a reputed law firm. Candidates with hands-on expertise in drafting/vetting contracts, arbitration, litigation management, corporate law, and service matters will be given strong preference.
3. Age Limit & Relaxations
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 20 October 2026.
- Upper Age Relaxations:
- SC / ST:5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- PwBD Candidates:Up to 10 years over and above the respective category relaxation.

Selection Process
