The Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC), an autonomous body under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, dedicated to promoting agribusiness, has announced a new recruitment drive. SFAC is currently seeking dynamic legal talent for the position of Young Professional (Legal).
This role is particularly well-suited for Delhi-based advocates who have built up approximately three years of legal experience. Professionals whose current practice revolves heavily around intensive legal research and drafting will find their skills directly transferable to managing SFAC’s extensive portfolio of litigation and administrative tasks.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Professional Registration: Must be actively registered as an Advocate with a State Bar Council under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Experience Requirement: A minimum of 03 years of post-qualification experience handling litigation matters in High Courts or District Courts.
- Technical Skills: Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with high proficiency in computer operations (MS Word, Excel, Data Analytics, etc.).
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected Young Professional will be tasked with comprehensive case management and legal administration, including:
- Monitoring and handling approximately 600 pending VCA-related court cases across various national forums (with 10-15 new cases added monthly).
- Drafting, typing, and preparing complex legal documents, case files, and correspondence.
- Managing records for cheque bounce cases and issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
- Updating case statuses on the government’s LIMBS (Legal Information Management & Briefing System) portal.
- Processing advocates’ fee bills and managing e-Office files for official approvals.
- Coordinating directly with external legal representatives and downloading court orders for digital record maintenance.
